IT'S OFFICIAL...

We're part of the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) for 2008! Although we don't shoot weddings, we will be receiving the latest updates on portrait photography as well as a subscription to Rangefinder Magazine. Best of all, we'll be attending the annual trade show in the spring where we'll be insiders to the latest and greatest! When we go, we'll post some of the cool things we saw--stay tuned!

SHIPPING AND RECEIVING

An old warehouse is the perfect place to have your senior pictures taken--as long as you're like Justin and know what you're doing! Because he's worked there his whole life, he's very helpful with elevator operation, location ideas, and shopping cart "distribution." He was tons of fun, and we shot a lot of great pictures. Of course we had to go for pizza and pop afterwards... we were starving!!

IT"S NOT JUST A JOB...

It's an adventure! Our son, Nick, has been job shadowing me all this week which should explain any weird changes you've witnessed on the website (funky colors and strange music)! He is amazing at the computer and has even shown me how to do some things more efficiently. He's learning website development, quickbooks business software, lab ordering, customer relations, purchasing, business card ordering (see sample below) and will be making an advertising display for an upcoming event. Now the questions is, what will I do without him?! If you get a chance, send him a quick note through the contact page so that he has something to look at when he checks the email two times a day! BRAVING THE ELEMENTS

Here is our new friend, Don, posing OUTSIDE (notice the ice in the river!) for his senior pictures. He's very brave to get his yearbook shot in January! He's also very bright (attending an ivy league school next year!) We really had fun getting to know him and his mom while thawing out with hot chocolate after the shoot.
