THIS SIDE OF THE TRACKS . . .

If you read the post I had about 'breaking the rules', you'll know that I can now post a sneak-peak image of our senior - holla! I'm so glad that we no longer have to wait FOREVER, even though patience is one of my strong points - NOT!

Just like People Magazine (well, sorta like it...), we're giving you the exclusive from Kyle's photoshoot. Here he is fearlessly venturing out onto the train bridge - spanning the Grand River! Notice his nonchalent smile as if it were no big deal to pose on real train tracks with water rushing below... stay tuned!

A WHOLE NEW WORLD . . .

Yep, we LOVE to take children's pictures! Riley just turned 4 years old ("and a few days...") Even though it rained and we couldn't go on location, we had a great time dressing up and playing ballerina. Matter of fact, we felt very lucky to be treated to her rendition of "A Whole New World" and "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". Seeing everything through her big eyes is totally magic!

At the end, we went for ice cream to celebrate, and Riley asked if she could wear her ballerina outfit to the restaurant. Without hesitation, I said YES! How cute is that?! All I can say is we're lucky they don't make sparkly pink slippers with ostrich feathers in my size!

BREAKING THE RULES . . .

It's OK...really...they're my rules!

Every time we do a photo shoot, I go absolutely crazy because I created the unwritten rule that I won't post pictures until the client sees them first. Seriously, it's a nice rule for everyone - EXCEPT ME! It's like going to Cold Stone and checking out the whole case, but never ordering anything. AND, even worse, seeing all the fun toppings you could add to the ice cream to make it beyond perfect, but once again, nothing - NADDA! It's maddening!!

This year, I've made new rules... (hey, it's my perrogative!) I've decided that I'll post one, sneak-peak image after the session (which the client has already seen) and then make a formal blog post when they pick up their proof book. So, without further ado, here's Kara.

According to my new rules, you'll have to wait a few more days to see more of her amazing pictures and hear the story of the door... But, at least you can see who's coming and best of all, I feel much better!
